Head of Marketing Innovation - Global

Location: South London HQ. Hybrid working
Around £100,000 + bonus + exec benefits

Consider the remit: Create and own a three-year innovation pipeline for a privately owned, well-established, internationally known, natural healthcare business, that will fuel incremental growth and shape the product ranges of the future.

Our client is growing, and profitable. Turnover today is around £65m with a bold intention to double revenues in the next five years by fully exploiting the world of possibilities for NPD and a collection of well-known household-named brands, manufactured in the UK and Europe.

With significant growth opportunities for EPD and Blue-Sky innovation, along with geographic expansion, you will leverage your deep understanding of consumer insights and needs, category, and macro trends to drive value creation.

As a marketing leader with a prominent bias for innovation, you will be responsible for identifying key ingredients and compelling claims adhering to market nuances and regulatory requirements. You will also need to optimise the delivery processes and execution of these propositions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will be adept at building business cases and providing intelligent commentary and a strategic view at Board meetings regularly, winning hearts and minds with flair. Your classical FMCG marketing training and profound experience in branded innovation roles will mark you out as a talented passionist of consumerism. Ideally, you will have experience in the personal care, health or beauty world, where innovation, invention, and renovation are the norm. As leader of a team of two, you’ll be charged with defining the best ways of working and achieving optimal performance.

The role demands real conviction and energy - someone with obvious self-confidence who knows how to make a measurable difference. You will need strong interpersonal skills, and bags of EQ, coupled with a constantly enquiring mind and a natural ability to lead and influence others. Our client is looking for the right person with the right attitude, adaptability, and resilience, someone who can demonstrate creative flair as a marketing entrepreneur and pioneer.
